Wedding Balls
1 cup of butter
1 tsp almond or 2 tsp. vanilla extract
½ cup of sugar
¼ tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 cup crushed nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Mix butter with sugar until creamy. Add salt, extract, flour and nuts. Mix
well. Chill one hour. Make 1 ½ inch balls and place on baking tray. Roll in confectioners’
sugar and then bake at 325F for 12~15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. When cool
roll in confectioners’ sugar again.
