Indoor Beef Brisket, Cajun Style
Serves: 8
3-4 pound beef brisket
4 quarts water
3 oz bag shrimp and crab boil spices
1 lemon, cut in half
1 whole onion, peeled
2 stalks celery
2 cloves garlic, peeled
2 Tablespoon salt
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 drops Tabasco sauce
16 small new red potatoes, unpeeled
8 small ears of corn
Combine brisket, water, shrimp boil in large pan. Boil,
cover, reduce heat and simmer 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Add rest of ingredients and
return to boil. Cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
