Cajun Fried Mushrooms
20 medium to large mushroom
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1 tbs. plus 1/2 tsp. Patsy's All- Purpose Creole Seasoning
1/2 tbs. cayenne pepper
1 cup bread crumbs
Vegetable oil for deep frying
Combine egg and milk, beating well. In a medium working
bowl, mix flour, 1 tbs. Patsy's All Purpose Creole Seasoning and cayenne.
Dredge mushroom in flour mixture, dip in egg wash and roll in bread crumbs. Deep fry in hot oil (375 degrees) until golden brown. Drain
on paper towels and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 teaspoon Creole Seasoning.
